Gwyneth Paltrow claimed her ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt wanted to kill Harvey Weinstein after the producer allegedly tried to sexually harass her, The Guardian reported Thursday.

Paltrow, 45, offered more details about Weinstein trying to sexually harass her in a hotel room, this time involving her ex-boyfriend Pitt, the actress told Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio Wednesday. The actress stated that after she told Pitt about the alleged incident, the actor promptly went up to the producer, confronted him, and threatened to kill him, The Guardian reported.

“I told him right away and I was very shaken by the whole thing,” Paltrow said. “We were at the opening of Hamlet on Broadway. Harvey was there and Brad Pitt – it was like the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically.”

“He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.’ Or something like that. It was so fantastic. He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet,” she said.

Paltrow previously spoke out about Weinstein allegedly sexually harassing her in an interview with The New York Times in October. However, a flashback video from a 1998 interview with David Letterman shows the two joking about Weinstein’s alleged misconduct to the young actress.

Paltrow starred in Weinstein’s 1998 flick called “Shakespeare in Love.”
