A superintendent will meet Tuesday with parents and staff affiliated with a Maryland school whose employees just keep getting arrested.

Montgomery County Schools Superintendent Jack R. Smith will conduct a closed-door meeting with Cloverly Elementary School staff and parents after charges involving sexual misconduct, child pornography, and sexual abuse of a minor, The Washington Post reported.

“You’re just saying: ‘How can this happen? How can it happen in one place?'” Montgomery mother Sonia Livingston said.

“Three in 21 months,” Cloverly parent Jim Bartley said. “We have had enough.”

Cloverly substitute teacher Steven Katz received charges of fourth-degree sex offense and sexual abuse of a minor in March after he allegedly touched a male student on the buttocks.

“Mr. Katz is adamant that he’s done nothing wrong and intends to fully contest the allegations against him,” Katz’s attorney, Robert Bonsib, said.

Cloverly teacher John Vigna received 48 years in prison for the sexual abuse of four female students over the span of 15 years. January availed the arrest of Cloverly lunch aide Sean Kelley on child pornography charges. Kelley’s attorney declined comment to WaPo, citing the case’s early stage.

Smith’s meeting with teachers and staff will be closed to the media upon parental request. Parents hope Smith will bolster school security, employee training and screening, counseling, and adult presence in the classroom.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to Montgomery County Public Schools for comment but received none in time for press.
