A MAGA Hat Makes An Appearance In Indiana Republican’s Latest Campaign Video

GOP Rep. Todd Rokita of Indiana threw on a “Make America Great Again” hat in an ad video his Senate campaign released Tuesday.

President Donald Trump defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016 by nearly 19 percentage points, a likely reason Rokita is making it so evident he is willing to back the president and his administration.

Rokita claims he will “proudly stand with our president and Mike Pence to drain the swamp.”

The Indiana representative faces GOP Rep. Luke Messer of Indiana and former state Rep. Mike Braun. He calls out both Messer and Braun in the ad for being “RINO(s).”

“Mike Braun – He is a lifelong Democrat. He voted for Obama or Hillary. Wow,” Rokita says in the ad. “Luke Messer – He plotted with the Never Trumpers to steal the nomination from President Trump. You’ve gotta be kidding me.”

“We’re not going to beat Joe Donnelly with a RINO,” Rokita says.

Rokita has taken a few shots Braun for voting for in Democratic primaries until 2012. Braun claims he only voted in those primaries as a way of trying to shift the election in favor of Republican candidates. The Indiana representative has made a few critical remarks about Messer, calling him out for not standing with the president.
