The Michigan State University Dean, who supervised former sports doctor Larry Nassar, was arrested for alleged sexual harassment Monday.
Seventy-year-old former Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Dean William Stramphel was arrested Monday for alleged sexual harassment following a police search warrant. Stramphel allegedly stored roughly 50 non-medical images of nude and semi-nude MSU female students. He also used his university computer to store pornographic videos and another of Nassar doing his fake medical practices. The former dean also faces allegations of inappropriately touching one female student, WILX10 reported.
Police first uncovered the innapropriate images and videos on Stramphel’s office computer in an investigation entailing MSU’s role in allegedly covering up Nassar’s sexual misconduct, which Michigan special prosecutor William Forsyth led, starting in February 2018, CNN reported.
The former dean stepped down from his position in December 2017 for medical reasons, the Daily Mail added.
