A Washington Post opinion piece provided a list for how one can defeat President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2020 presidential election, in a column published Tuesday.
Philippe Reines, a spokesman and adviser to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton since 2002, crafted a list of suggestions for how one could beat “freak of nature” Trump in the upcoming election, he wrote inThe Washington Post. Reines also worked on Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign and provided some advice for future candidates.
“Trump is a freak of political nature. He’s a political Weeble Wobble that never falls down,” wrote Reines. “He makes Ronald Reagan’s Teflon look like Saran Wrap. Here are five strategies Reines provided for those interested in running against Trump:
Reines also noted not to apologize for taking money from Harvey Weinstein. The producer who is accused of sexual abuse was a donor to the Clinton campaign. Clinton said that she would return some of the money to charity in October, reported TIME.
