Joe Scarborough Must Have Read The 150 Page House Intel Report Or He’s Spewing Some Insane Nonsense On Trump

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has once again accused House Republicans of misleading the American people and claimed they are lying to protect President Donald Trump.

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence announced Monday they had found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, but Scarborough still wasn’t convinced.

“These members saw the testimony of four intelligence officers appointed by Donald Trump testify before Congress that Russia tried to interfere in the election on behalf of Donald Trump,” Scarborough said Tuesday on “Morning Joe.” “They know that. That’s a matter of public record. You can go into any court in the land and you could probably get judicial notice of it. It’s so obvious and yet they claim — in this report made for talk radio, that that wasn’t the case.”

The House Intel Committee report is at odds with intelligence community claims that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump defeat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The report insteads credits Russia with attempting to “sow discord,” a finding Scarborough took issue with.

“Why did they lie when everybody knows they’re lying, that the Russians were trying to help Donald Trump,” Scarborough concluded. “And secondly, why the rush to judgment, why now?”

The full 150 page report has yet to be released, raising the questions of what information Scarborough is basing his claims of lying.
