Another Nor’easter To Clobber New England With Two Feet Of Snow

The third nor’easter in two weeks hit New England Tuesday morning and is expected to dump as much as two feet of snow throughout the day.

Parts of Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire are under blizzard warnings, CNN reports.
“Travel will be very dangerous to impossible, especially [Tuesday] afternoon and evening. Tree branches could fall as well,” according to the National Weather Service. “Total snow accumulations of 14 to 18 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts.”

Many schools have preemptively closed for the day and the Boston-area public transit system has cut back on its operations. 12,000 customers in Massachusetts have lost power so far, The Guardian reports.
Gusts of wind reaching nearly 70 miles per hour smashed into Cape Cod, Mass. Tuesday morning, according to CNN.
The storm is not expected to be the worst of the two-week series of storms. Eight people died and nearly 2 million customers lost powers as a result of a storm that hit early this month.
