Oprah Winfrey called disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein a “bully,” in an interview Thursday.

Popular talk show host Winfrey, 64, voiced her opinions of Weinstein during an interview on actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s new podcast, CNN reported. Paltrow’s interview with Oprah, “Gwyneth X Oprah: POWER, PERCEPTION & SOUL PURPOSE,” discussed the “MeToo” movement in a podcast Paltrow lifestyle brand “Goop” hosted, according to her website.

Weinstein was a bully in terms of pressuring Winfrey to have certain guests over others on her famous talk show, Winfrey claimed during the interview. “What I knew about Harvey was that Harvey was a bully, and that if Harvey’s on the phone, you go, ‘God, you don’t want to take the call,’ because you’re going to get bullied in some way,” Winfrey said.

The “A Wrinkle in Time” star denies knowing about any of Weinstein’s sexual misconduct allegations. “Was I friendly with Harvey? Yes, I was friendly with Harvey. Was I in association with Harvey for the ‘Butler’ movie? Yes, but of course I didn’t know any of this was going on,” Winfrey added, according to E! News.

Paltrow accused Weinstein of sexual assault back when she was 22 years old, in an October 2017 The New York Times article. She was “coerced” by the producer on David Letterman’s show in 1998, the Weinstein-produced “Shakespeare In Love” actress later joked.

Eighty-four women have accused Weinstein of sexual misconduct, USA Today reported in December.
