A New York City all-boys school brought in a sexuality educator and two queer and gender non-conforming activists to talk to the male students on International Women’s Day Thursday.

The Browning School invited sexuality educator Justine Fonte, queer activist Becca Mui and gender non-conforming activist Jamey Jesperson as part of a day-long event to discuss “consent and healthy relationships” with students in K-12th, according to an announcement on the school’s website.

“In recognition of both International Women’s Day on March 8 — which celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women — and Women’s History Month (March), Browning invited guest speakers to address students in all division levels. Justine Fonte (director of health & wellness at Dalton School) and Rebecca Mui (education manager at GLSEN), along with her colleague Jamey Jesperson (education associate at GLSEN), spoke about teaching consent and healthy relationships,” the school noted.

A picture on the school website reveals that Jesperson, who goes by “they/them,” hosted a demonstration for a crowd of young boys. The Browning School refused to further questions from The Daily Caller News Foundation on the International Women’s Day situation, such as what the young students were taught and the reception from parents.

The school also planned “teach-ins” and other talks with students on the topics presented by the activists.

“During the course of the day, Browning’s student leaders led discussions on these same topics, while faculty members conducted ‘teach-ins’ to further such discussions while also incorporating the achievements of women into their regular curriculum for the day,” the school added in its announcement.
