Michigan State Police report at least two individuals were shot Friday morning at Central Michigan University.
The city of Mt. Pleasant has locked down all city buildings. The suspect is allegedly an armed, black male, reported WILX 10.
Central Michigan University police have initiated a campus “shelter in place.” Shots were reportedly fired on the fourth floor of campus dorm Campbell Hall and the school has canceled classes for the remainder of the day.
“There has been a report of shots fired at Campbell Hall on campus,” said the school on Twitter. “Suspect is still at large, police advise all to take shelter. If you see something suspicious, call 911.”
