A photo of the alleged NYC terror suspect Akayed Ullah is circulating on social media showing him with wounds to his torso after a bomb he was carried appears to have malfunctioned.

The Associated Press confirmed previously via a law enforcement official that Ullah had the explosive device strapped to himself when it exploded Monday morning in a busy New York City subway station. New York City officials noted that the device was fixed to Ullah’s body with zip ties.

Former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton told MSNBC the suspect was “possibly” a Bangladeshi immigrant to the U.S. who was inspired by the Islamic State. U.S. authorities are investigating the attack as a terrorism incident.
