President Donald Trump said he is part of the largest “witch hunt” in U.S. political history in a tweet Monday morning.
Trump suggested everyone watch well-known lawyer Alan Dershowitz’s appearance on “Fox & Friends,” where he explained weather or not Trump obstructed justice by firing former FBI Director James Comey.
Dershowitz said it would be ridiculous if Congress were to ever charge Trump with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional authority under Article II, saying there would be a “constitutional crisis” if charges were filed against the president.
“You cannot charge a president with obstruction of justice for exercising his constitutional power,” Dershowitz’s said.
A must watch: Legal Scholar Alan Dershowitz was just on @foxandfriends talking of what is going on with respect to the greatest Witch Hunt in U.S. political history. Enjoy!
