Jon Stewart admitted that he ‘could have done more’ in regards to multiple women alleging comedian Louis CK being accused of sexual harassed them during an interview on the “Today” show Tuesday.
“You always find yourself back to a moment of, ‘Did I miss something? Could I have done more?’ And in this situation, I think we all could have. So you feel anger at what you did to people,” said Stewart, adding that comedy is not a great environment for women.
Stewart, 54, former host of “The Daily Show,” sat down with Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer on “Today” to discuss the five women who accused his friend comedian Louis CK of sexual harassment, reported People magazine. Louis CK admitted that the sexual harassment allegations were true in a statement Friday.
