MSNBC host Joe Scarborough played out a doomsday scenario of nuclear war Monday on “Morning Joe,” and called President Donald Trump an “imminent threat” to the security of the United States.
“Republicans really have a responsibility to talk about the imminent threat that they know, because they’ve seen behind the scenes that this man [Trump] poses to the safety and security of the United states of America,” he said.
Scarborough began listing West Coast cities vulnerable to a nuclear attack, and said Republicans might finally learn their lesson after millions of people die.
“When there’s a nuclear incident and a million people in Seattle, or Los Angeles or San Francisco die. Or all the dependents in South Korea. A hundred thousand Americans are slaughtered in a days worth of fighting. At that point it will be too late for Republicans to say, oh I get it, okay. Maybe I should have said this in front of the camera,” Scarborough said.
“All the warning signs are there. A lot of people have been warning about his for some time. Specifically the nuclear weapons,” he concluded.
