A hashtag for men who support abortion called #MenForChoice trended on Twitter on Wednesday, and the responses did get a little weird.
One man tried to turn the abortion hashtag into a celebration of transgenderism. “#MenForChoice know reproductive justice wouldn’t exist without people of trans experience. We see you. We love you,” one commenter tweeted.
Many of the tweets had a weirdly sexual connotation for a hashtag about abortion. One woman tweeted that men who support abortion are “100% hotter than man who aren’t,” while another woman admonished men to “get loud with us.”
Although it was difficult to whittle down, here is a collection of some of the most interesting tweets with the hashtag.
