A Georgia state representative warned a black lawyer that she could “go missing” if she continues to fight against Confederate statues in a Facebook post Tuesday.

State Rep. Jason Spencer and LaDawn Jones, a former state representative, argued over Facebook after Spencer posted a picture of him in front of the Jefferson Davis monument with the caption “This is Georgia’s history,” reports Raw Story.

“Yes get it in … before it is torn down. Are state tax dollars going to this? If so I need to take a closer look at the state budget. I’ll deal with it but don’t want to pay for it,” Jones, a current lawyer, responded to the post.
