One California border city is threatening to sue from the onslaught of sewage in their water from Mexico.
Imperial Beach, Calif., is frustrated that The International Boundary and Water Commission has not addressed the issue regarding water pollution stemming from the Mexican border.
Serge Dedina, mayor of Imperial Beach told Bloomberg BNA that the city is “fed up” with pollution which is allegedly being dumped from the Mexican side of the border into the water.
The city has also requested that they asked the Department of Homeland Security to fix drainage problems and rebuild the United States-Mexico border fence.
