Many millennials disapprove of President Donald Trump’s performance, according to a Tuesday poll from Harvard, but they like many of his policies.
While 32 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds condoned Trump’s performance, 60 percent approved of his trade policies, according to the poll released by Harvard’s Institute of Politics.
Similarly, while 41 percent of survey respondents scored Trump’s first 100 days as president with an “F,” 50 percent of Democrats believed that Trump’s trade policies, such as eliminating unjust trade practices, would help America.
When asked whether “ending the ‘anti-police’ atmosphere in America and empowering law enforcement” would improve America, 48 percent of millennials polled answered in the affirmative, whereas half of that number disagreed.
Survey takers also aligned with Trump when it came to media coverage of the president’s tenure. While 10 percent of millennial respondents gave the media an “A” in this category, 26 percent gave an “F.”
Millennials more strongly opposed Trump’s border wall, Obamacare plans, and refugee ban, with 45 to 50 percent of those polled indicating that the policies would harm America. (RELATED: College Students Like Devos’s Policy…When It’s Presented Without Her Name [VIDEO])
Harvard surveyed 2,654 18 to 29-year-old Americans. The online poll had a plus or minus of 2.7 percentage points.
