The latest fundraising totals for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee are in, and they are much worse than Republican numbers, according to a Tuesday report from Roll Call.
Democratic fundraisers were able to pull in $3.8 million during the month of February, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission. The DSCC had roughly $7.7 million in cash on hand at the end of the month.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee is in much better shape, financially. The group raised $5.1 million during the month of February, and ended the month with over $10.2 million. Democratic groups
Democratic groups experienced significantly increased donations in the months after President Donald Trump won the election. The American Civil Liberties Union received over $24 million during one weekend in January, several times over its yearly operating budget.
