CNN Uses Video Game To Explain Russia Hacks

CNN used screenshots of the highly popular video game “Fallout 4” to accompany a story about President Barack Obama issuing sanctions against Russia for its potential role in cyberattacks.

The CNN image’s likeness to the video game was first discovered by Reddit users, who aptly pointed out the neon green symbols were from a challenge in “Fallout 4.”  (RELATED: CNN Anchor Says Muslim Fencer More Deserving Than Phelps Of Carrying American Flag At Olympics)

Within this feature, players hack computerized devices in order to unlock vaults and once-secured doors. Users also have to decipher messages from a random assortment of characters.

“Fallout 4” was one of the best selling video games in 2015 and 2016.
