Ronna Romney McDaniel, chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party and niece of 2012 Republican presidential nominee, will co-chair the Republican National Committee with Ohio Trump director Bob Paduchik.
Trump has officially declared his support of Romney McDaniel as the next RNC chair, according to Gongwer News Service, a Michigan-based political reporting outfit. According to Gongwer, she will share her job with Trump Ohio director Bob Paduchik.

Trump visited Michigan Dec. 9, as part of his ongoing “Thank You” tour. Romney McDaniel introduced the President-elect on stage.
Romney McDaniel and Paduchik helped Trump carry the two rust-belt states, which were critical in his election to the presidency. His decision to split the top post may have been a compromise between transition officials who saw Romney McDaniel as too much of an establishment figure for the post.
Multiple media reports have said that Romney McDaniel was Trump’s choice for the top RNC post, but Paduchik’s name has not been as prevalent.
