Trump Slams Jill Stein In Tweet, Calls Recount Effort A ‘Scam’

President-elect Donald Trump slammed former Green Party Candidate Jill Stein’s election recount efforts on social media Sunday.
Trump alleged Stein’s call for Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania to review their election results is a “scam” orchestrated by the former presidential hopeful.
“The Green Party just dropped its recount suit in Pennsylvania and is losing votes in Wisconsin recount. Just a Stein scam to raise money!” he tweeted after Pennsylvania decided to drop the case. Stein was unable to raise enough to fulfill the $1 million bond ordered by the courts in Pennsylvania due Monday.

Stein said she will continue her fight by taking her case to federal courts, alleging the voting systems were hacked.
The recount in Wisconsin only yielded former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton one vote during its first day in the Badger State. The Clinton campaign announced it was opting to join Stein in overseeing the recount in the states in late November, saying it wants “ensure that it is fair to all sides.”
Trump would have had to have lost all three states in the recount to change the election results.
