Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is calling in favors from top Democrats in the key swing state of Ohio from Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, according to a reports.
Both Sanders and Warren are currently scheduled to appear at five campaign rallies in favor of the Democratic nominee, reported The Hill Thursday. Sanders will visit Canton, Kent, and Akron Saturday, and Warren will spend Saturday in Columbus and then visit Cleveland Sunday.
Republican nominee Donald Trump leads in the two latest polls published in the race. A Bloomberg poll published Tuesday gave Trump a five point lead in the race, and a CNN poll also released Tuesday showed Trump ahead of Clinton by four points. The latest poll Clinton ahead was a CBS poll that gave Clinton a seven point lead.
Statistics site 538 recently adjusted its swing state tracking numbers to reveal Trump chances of victory in the swing state of Ohio. After Clinton’s recent bought with pneumonia, and poor polling performance, Ohio appears much closer to Trump’s reach than ever before.
