Democrats are firing back at Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus after his criticism of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during Wednesday’s forum.
Priebus called Clinton “angry” and “defensive” in a tweet late Wednesday.
@HillaryClinton was angry + defensive the entire time – no smile and uncomfortable – upset that she was caught wrongly sending our secrets.

The Clinton campaign responded quickly with a tweet of its own.
Actually, that’s just what taking the office of President seriously looks like. https://t.co/Pyn92mesom

The attacks ranged from the outraged to the incredulous.

Also, did Trump smile? Is a smile an appropriate response to Qs about the VA and war? Chrissake.

The last male Republican to tell Clinton to smile more was MSNBC host Joe Scarborough, who faced serious backlash from Democrats who thought the comment was sexist.
Democrats and many pundits in the media criticized Republican nominee Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention in July as being “dark,” accusing Trump of scaremongering tactics to force voters to the polls.
