The Democratic National Convention’s chat room during its live stream of Monday night’s events was filled with anti-semitic statements, along with jokes about Muslims and “queers.”

Users on the live stream for the DNC discussed “Jews,” “queers” and Muslims throughout the night. One user, named JohnLothe, claimed that “Israelis” had too great an influence in the Western world.

“Israelis period have to much influence in America and the Western world in general,” he wrote. Another user tried to defend them, saying that JohnLothe’s statement was “hate speech.”

Last week, the Republican National Convention live stream chat room came under fire due to what many felt were anti semitic comments and racist statements. They eventually had to shut down the chat room.
