‘WHAT A HERO’ Meet The Brave Police Dog Who Was Killed Leading The Charge Against Terrorists In France

A French police dog was tragically killed leading the charge in a raid on the suspected mastermind of the Paris attacks Tuesday.

French police sent the seven-year-old female Belgian Shepherd named Diesel in first in the raid, and she was killed when a woman in a suicide vest blew herself up. Officers raided the building soon after. Five police were injured. One woman blew herself up and another man was killed by police.

The French police tweeted that “assault and explosives search dogs are indispensable in the missions of the operators of the raid.”
