Cher said Iran mustn’t be allowed a “nuclear anything” in an emoticon-filled, all-caps tweet two days before the agreement’s original deadline. The pop star exclaimed, “Iran is governed by terrorists who can never b trusted. They cannot b allowed 2 have ‘nuclear anything.'” Then, Cher commented that many Iranian youth are pro-America, quipping, “Shame,” with a teary-face emoticon.
Many users replied to Cher’s tweet, some voicing agreement, claiming this is the smartest thing the pop star has said in awhile. Others presented the Iranian side of the matter.
