‘Does He Want To Start Calling Us Colored People Again?’: Harris Faulkner Left Aghast By Biden’s Return Speech

Fox News host Harris Faulkner appeared to be shocked Wednesday after playing clips from a Tuesday speech by former President Joe Biden in Chicago.

During his speech in Chicago, Biden used the term “colored kids” while lecturing Americans about the need to treat everyone with “dignity.” Faulkner called out Biden’s “hypocrisy” on the issue, citing a Daily Caller News Foundation article that recounted the former president calling supporters of President Donald Trump “garbage.”

“President Biden spoke for about 30 minutes instead of the one hour he was booked for, that he was scheduled to speak and it came with some offensive words, weird whispers and a touch of hypocrisy,” Faulkner said before she played clips of the speech.

“So, does he want to start calling us colored people again?” Faulkner exclaimed after the cuts from the speech aired. “Oh my gosh, what a mess. This headline in reference to that last comment you just heard: ‘Biden lectures us to treat one another with dignity months after he labeled Trump voters as garbage.’”

Biden made the comments attacking Trump supporters during an Oct. 29, 2024, virtual campaign event in response to a joke stand-up comedian Tony Hinchcliffe told about Puerto Rico during Trump’s Oct. 27, 2024, campaign rally at Madison Square Garden.

Then-Vice President Kamala Harris escalated attacks on Trump in the closing weeks of the 2024 presidential campaign, devoting a major speech to attacking the former president as a threat to democracy and portraying him as “unstable” days after calling him a “fascist” during an Oct. 23, 2024, town hall on CNN. Biden said that Trump supporters were a “threat to democracy” in a Sept. 1, 2022, speech, days after he claimed Republicans embraced “semi-fascism” at an Aug. 25, 2022, Democratic National Committee fundraiser.
