House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy criticized the Democratic majority’s impeachment efforts Wednesday, saying there has been an “issue with fairness” ever since the process began.
“Let’s be honest — this was never about persuasion, it was never about the rule of law,” McCarthy said of impeachment proceedings.
